Research

I am a visual neuroscientist currently working as a postdoctoral research associate with Jon Winawer and Marisa Carrasco
in the Department of Psychology at New York University. Prior to this, I received my PhD in Neuroscience and Neuroimaging
from the University of York in 2019 under the supervision of Alex Wade and as a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions PhD Fellow
within the NextGenVis consortium.

My current research interests concern understanding how early visual processes are represented and encoded in the visual
cortex, the neural computations that support these processes, how these processes relate to visual perception, and how
they change in response to neurological and psychiatric disease. My research employs a range of techniques: fMRI,
psychophysics, EEG, computational modeling, and recordings from animal models of disease.
